Fratin Brothers Vineyard continues a long tradition of family winemaking in the Grampians area, The vineyards are nestled between the rolling hills of the Great dividing range in the Grampians region. Traditional winemaking methods including basket pressing are still used to create a wines of elegance and distinction.
Fratin Brothers Grampians Tempranillo is made entirely from our Estate grown grapes, resulting in a classic European style wine, to be enjoyed with great food.The wine displays varietal characters, while maintaining the full fruit flavours from the vineyard and supported by well-balanced oak integration.
Alcohol: 13.5%
Colour: Deep ruby red in the glass with a slightly orange tinge around the rim
Bouquet: Dark cherry, plum and herbaceous aromas with hints of leather, tobacco leaves and some meaty notes
Palate: A medium bodied wine that has a refreshing and well weighted mid palate with good fruit and oak integration, and intense tannins that linger
