Fratin Brothers Vineyard continues a long tradition of family winemaking in the Grampians area, The vineyards are nestled between the rolling hills of the Great dividing range in the Grampians region. Traditional winemaking methods including basket pressing are still used to create a wines of elegance and distinction.
Fratin Brothers Grampians Sangiovese is made entirely from our Estate grown grapes, resulting in a classic cool climate wine. Undoubtedly our favourite Italian varietal, to be enjoyed with great food made in a style for everyday drinking that displays varietal characters, while maintaining the full fruit flavours from the vineyard and supported by well-balanced oak integration.

Colour: Translucent ruby red
Bouquet: Red fruits burst from the glass, lifted cherries and raspberries, wrapped withsweet vanilla and spice.
Palate: Lush raspberry flavours dominate on thefruit forward palate. Medium bodied. Give it some time in the glass to open upand show its true colours. Tight fine tannins to finish.
