Fratin Brothers Vineyard continues a long tradition of family winemaking in the Grampians area, the vineyards are nestled between the rolling hills of the Great Dividing Range in the Grampians region. Traditional winemaking methods including basket pressing are still used to create a wines of elegance and distinction.
Fratin Brothers Grampians Chardonnay is made entirely from our Estate grown grapes, resulting in a classic cool climate wine, fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks before being transferred to 50% new French oak for maturation, regular lees stirring has added fullness, while maintaining fresh tropical & stone fruit characters, well balanced acidity creates a fresh, well rounded wine.

Bouquet: Lemon zest, stonefruit & berry aromas
Palate: Citrus & stone fruit fill the mouth, Layers of tropical fruit linger with hints of sweet oak in the background. Well-balanced mineral acidity creates a long lasting finish.
